I am a big fan of Disney’s Family Fun magazine—they just get me. And I’m in a food rut. Which is why I was so excited to get their new special collector’s edition “Dinnertime”—it has over 98 recipes, collecting the best from their 19 years of publications—broken down into fun categories including “30 minute meals” and “Picky eater pleasers”. It also has games, crafts, fun at the table and lots more. Plus, like always, the design and organization is easy to follow and festive, with great photos and illustrations.

And we are excited to announce we are giving one copy away!

    The best thing that I have had to eat this week was hot dogs and hamburgers (we have been campinging all week). Did I mention that the hamburgers didnt have any seasoning.. because being a mommy of 3+hubby; I forgot the seasoning!!! oh the joys ;)

    The yummiest thing I’ve eaten this week is probably some homemade sweet potato fries. Or maybe cauliflower with cheese sauce. I can’t decide. Yum!

    The yummiest thing I ate this week was avocado tempura tonight at a local sushi restaurant. It was fabulous!

    The yummiest thing I ate this week was steak salad with feta, walnuts, and homegrown tomatoes from our garden! So glad the girls like veggies :)

    I ate a Super Crunchy sushi roll (crunchy something, with shrinp inside and outside the roll with a very delicious sauce) at RuSans. Second best was my husband’s homemade rice pudding:)

    A salad at Lupi’s in Chattanooga, TN. It is really a pizza place, but I’m pregnant and pizza doesn’t appeal to me like salad.

    Ok, the other comments here make me feel like the culinary failure that I am. If it doesn’t sound like spaghetti-or-macaroni-and-cheese-like boring, then there’s almost no way I’ve made it or served it to eat.

    Best thing I’ve eaten is a bowl of granola mixed with vanilla yogurt and fresh strawberries from my garden. So like a parfait the lazy way.

    Ooo, I’d love this book! We’ve had a gray week and so I made some yummy potato corn chicken chowder and fresh bread.

    We had friends over for Memorial Day and I made a huge salad from our little garden: mixed greens, sugar snap peas, red onions, and baby carrots. The dressing was an herb vinegrette that was also made from our own yard! My husband grilled a few steaks and a cast iron skillet full of onions and peppers. We sliced the meat up really thin and had tacos. It was a thrifty and healthy way to entertain a larger group. Yummy AND Fun!

    Mmm…. Roast pumpkin and bacon pesto pasta. Love, love love this and my son actually eats it which is nice!

    I just started having “cooking shows” with my niece (who is a picky eater) and this magazine would be GREAT. What a help this would be to my research!

    Yummiest thing I’ve eaten this week? Tuna wraps with my niece! I had to find just the right tortilla to use and I snuck little pieces of spinach leaves in the tuna fish so she could get her greens…

    The best thing I’ve had this week would be strawberry/blueberry pie, for my son’s 17 birthday. He always has pie instead of cake. (Picky eater…LOL)
